The AVUUF will be embarking starting this next Sunday on 3 programs developed by UU leaders that will take us through the winter interspersed with some other programs. Each program is divided into a number of workshops which will be presented by various members and by me. If you want to lead a workshop let someone on the board know and we will arrange it. All programs are interactive and we will do various activities, writing, small group, discussion etc.
These 3 programs are:

These programs are part of the TAPESTRY OF FAITH LIFESPAN CURRICULUM FOUND ON THE UUA.ORG SITE under RELIGIOUS EDUCATION (click then on CURRICULA then TAPESTRY OF FAITH then ADULT and you will find the programs. The box on the site page of UUA.org has a box to put in any topic so begin by putting in religious education or click under Leaders then Teachers.

Remember our Sangha meets in the library on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM.
Our board discussed SOCIAL ACTIONS and decided to act on Bags for Kids and Soles for Little Soles so please bring in school supplies and school bags and backpacks for children for the Bags for Kids and SHOES for children ANY SIZE for Soles for Little Soles. Please bring in copies of your UU Worlds to share with others. I am contacting the HOMELESS SHELTER to set up a series of dates for us to serve there. We will need volunteers to help us with this.
