Ongoing Social Actions
Protesting the Gaza Attacks - 01/10/09 Ricky Perkins represented the Fellowship on Friday in Palmdale at a protest against the Israeli bombings and other attacks against civilians on both sides in Gaza. Serving the Homeless at the Lancaster Community Homeless Shelter - '09 The Fellowship will make and serve dinner at least three times this winter. This has been a tradition of several years for our fellowship. Of course, the need now is greater than ever. We prepare to feed 100 - 125 people on any winter night.

Dinner is served at 6:30, so we must arrive well in advance of that to prepare the food and cook the food, if necessary. A volunteer coordinator is still needed for this important social action project.
The number for the shelter is 945-7524 or 874-5702. Mary is the chief cook and kitchen manager at the Shelter. Mary has our commitment on the calendar for the above dates.
